Must be worth a little bit, at least. David, didn't you sell yours for a NM 1st print brownie? That would mean it's worth at least 2.5K or so.

Got this today...he might have mentioned the water damage even though it was slight......true to his name and never again will I send them money.

Someone had mentioned that it looked like water damage after I bought it. I had thought it might have been plastic and the effect that occurs with scanning sometimes. It was slight water damage.

The picture pretty much clarifies water damage. Nothing else leaves waves like that.

Well, I think this also proves David's theory on the R1-4(smelling of heavy smoke) which also happens to be listed in F-VF condition by him.  I guess the message to be told, if it hasn't been told enough already, but avoid him at all costs. Not only does he have misplaced arrogance about his own *knowledge & skills*, but his also clearly not an honest person.  Seems to me the only thing that he is honest about is what his eBay user ID is.

Now the question is, who wants to bet that he now decides to make another *appearance* here again after reading these posts, trying to defend his business practices and his appraising skills.  His defense will be that it is not actually water damaged, but rather humidity challenged.

Wait...that's a decimal point, not a comma.  $1.50 sounds about right.

It was slight water damage.

Sorry to hear that confirmation, but predictable from the auction :(

Don't think I said they were certain to smell of heavy smoke, but the Polys from the same original seller were certainly smokey... and almost the same price as their Dragon 1-300 (= $300), too. :?

What do you mean? It is plainly obvious in the sellers description:

I especially love the "with dragons"

Minis at a guess.
Possibly quite a good deal if there's an overlap between the misused eBay "boxes/packs" category and "dragons" noted in the description.

Go on, someone! 2 hours to go... :D

Its not so much the item description that's laughable than the item itself.  If this isn't a crass example of milking a brand for all its worth, I don't know what is.  I'm just not quite sure which brand is being milked more...

There's no real significance to it, just something I put together while playing with the Historic Tale Construction Kit:
