Run away?  Interesting choice.

My first instinct when I see that garbage is to start sending emails to sys admins.  I've had to deal with my fair share of script kiddies, though.

I just had to post this.

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vi ... %3AIT&rd=1

This has got to be the most idiotic attempt at money making I have ever seen on Ebay.  8O

I looked at his other items....he also has this up.

Samsung TV Pedestal | eBay

What really freaks me out about the second entry is that someone is actually bidding on it.  :o

Idiotic AND not alllowed on eBay. If you can't sell actual lottery tickets, I sincerely doubt you can sell the promise of lottery tickets.

You found only the last line to be weird? I'm freaked that someone would even consider doing this.

What's with the 4 dudes on horses in the sky?

Leave him alone. He's a Gold-Plated, Ruby-Encrusted Infinite-Level Powergaming DM. If you pick on him, 10d6 blue bolt on the top of the head, guaranteed.

And how funny is this: I don't even have to ask him what version he is talking about!

(However, if you cross my palm with dollars...?).

Interesting how "ethics" are to be found everywhere these days! :)

Hmmm. I think I woke up on the wrong side of the bed. I asked him a question:

"Lemme see if I get this straight: I can win the auction for $5, pay $4.05 shipping ($18.80 overnight) for you to E-MAIL me a file. So $9.05 for you to play my game for me?"

Overly harsh? Or underly? I was going to ask what he charged to actually come and sit in for my gaming sessions, although it would be very hard for him, considering I use custom rules that make it pretty much impossible to powergame.

You can't be harsh enough.

Dungeon Masters Guide | eBay

Looks like this guy is trying this again. This has to be the 4th or 5th time over the last 9 months for this same exact auction now. Each time the starting price and the BIN are exactly the same. I wonder when thisseller is finally going to figure out that this book is NOT worth what he is asking for it.

If he wasn't trying to scalp on shipping he would probably have a sale.

Item page now states: "The seller ended this listing early because the item is no longer available for sale."

BTW, love the Q&A at the bottom — the first one is from me; the second from DL39. Classic.
