...2nd Edition Collection with over half the collection being 1st edition

Shouldn't that make it a 1st Edition collection, with many 2nd Edition items. At least a mix of the 2 editions!

Unless it is a really large collection I would be hard pressed to see $100 UPS shipping. So I can pay $450 right now with shipping and not picture one or even a listing of the items....someone stop me quick

If those were only worth $25.00 each 8O

Think about it though, a new book is $30.00 so it is not such a stretch for a person not following the market as closely as we do to assume that 1st ed books would be worth somewhat the same.

Coug's been trying to corner the market on H1 for a long time (several years).  Usually he starts it out a 99 pence with some ridiculous reserve price.

I would have to guess his reserve was 70 pounds on his previous 99 pence auctions then. How long has he been doing that? Seems like forever.

It's all well and good that this guy is sending the proceeds to buy care packages, and no disrespect meant towards the military at all.

But the "avid collector's" appraisal in the last paragraph is laughable.  Unless there's a Fazzle/ST1 that I missed.

I have a feeling the avid  D&D collector the person talked to was a make believe person.  I think they are just trying to pump up the auction to get more money; it's going to be pretty shocking when this package goes for under $2000....way under.

If it goes over $50 something is way wrong.
