on the plus side he is leaving feedback when he gets paid and not forcing the buyer to leave feedback first, if this was introduced as an ebay policy I'm sure you would get a fairer feedback from customers...

Aw, this is so common now I've lost the will to complain about it.  The problem is three-fold:

1.  Genuine unfamiliarity of 1st Ed. stuff, simply because it's not in every corner store.  Never seen before != rare.2.
2.  Lack of passion for detail:  some of these guys can't tell a 1st print MM from a 6th, even though they are strikingly different if you look closely.
3.  Greed, lies, and deceit.  Let's face it, some people think eBay is a scam artist free-for-all.

Agreed 100%.  The best thing to do in these situations is to irritate the seller with a bunch of questions.

Speaking of shady, no good, lying POS sellers, I imagine that the newest and latest incarnation of our old freind jonb should be cropping up pretty soon.

I have been thinking for some time now there should be a $2 surcharge to put Rare, Ultr-Rare or anything that designates something as being scarce in an eBay title. The people would use it when it should and not as an eye catching word or bold face lie. If I see one more Rare Keep on the Borderlands I think I will scream.

Looks like the seller got confused by the fancy font; I'm pretty sure that Paladine deserves his own book.

Though I eagerly await the follow-up "Player's Guide to Wu Jen and Takhisis"...
