You have got to love the "MAY THE BIDDING WARS RAGE ON!!" comment.

Eh, figure since I just got outbid I would make a note of this one. Maybe the description is the reason why there were no serious bids until 2 hours before the end of the auction. 8O  If Guido would stop bidding on stuff he might be able to get the next part of his story out before Christmas.

D.D. Crow Super RARE | eBay

What's funny about that one?

I'd guess that catalogs are pretty rare, given how often they just get tossed into the trash ;)

I sell a similar item (the "candid letter" that was put out by WotC marketing when they bought TSR), and I've sold a bunch of 'em:

WoTC Takes Over TSR Flyer from TSR Rare | eBay

I guess it's just me...to me the item your selling is significantly more rare. Actually, I've got about 20-25 of those 1981 catalogs piled up w/ all my B2's & X1's...I just keep them around to put together accurate Basic/Expert Sets with original paperwork, RPGA membership forms, etc. Maybe I should start selling them individually!

Well, for $0.99 I don't think the guy's too crazy. He'll probably sell more of those than he will B1's :P

Over the years I've sold a bunch of these in the $5 range....remember, the casual collector either doesn't have access to these or has never seen one before (since they came out 25 or so years ago...).  You should put a price on those catalogs and put them up for bid, you might be surprised!

Maybe he's shiping each one in it's own Global Priority Envelope, and taking a $1 loss to be a nice guy?

>>Someone please tell me how some sellers just don't understand that this doesnt belong in the "Games - Role Playing - Other" category.<<

Well, you COULD use one of those as a pad to sit on for gaming?  Right?

Anyway, the model is hot, so no loss?

Ok, it's obviously just a truncation of "Undercity", but I can't help but picture Kofi Annan wielding a bastard sword...
