Well, I did get my Dave Arneson's Blackmoor for the 3.5 edition signed by DAve at MegaCon '05, but it does say Dave Arneson on the cover, so its ok, right? ;)

There are no bad editions of D&D, just Boring Players and Unimaginative DMs.

The book is in good shape? I'd hate to see poor shape.
Hey, at least you can give 1/2 the book to a player to help you look up obscure rules. Cut the time in  half.

If you hit a Rowsdower, you get to keep it.

Well, I only posted it because it reminded me of the "Friends" episode where Ross cuts the couch in half to get it up the stairs and then attempts to return it.  :)

D&D used to be based on Tolkien.  Now it's based on Jurassic Park.  The scary thing is this isn't a joke.   :?

8O  Wear and repair on the spine, eh?  Thanks for the heads up.

Nearly destroyed DMGs seems to be developing into a theme....

Actually, taking a picture on a white/light-colored background is tantamount to getting a white-out effect.

I've taken some pictures like that (non-digital), and had to scrap them because of it.

With the lights off, you get better contrast.
And, you can just make out that some of them are painted.

Maybe I just don't understand why someone would put a reserve on an auction and then tell everyone what the reserve price is.  Why not put the minimum bid higher?  Or put a BIN on the auction?

Either way, don't miss out on this incredible lot including the hard to find adventure "Temple of Ultimate Evil" and what looks to be an OCE that someone used for a cushion.  :D
