I elect this one as the worst auction of all time.  Remember it needs no game board!!!

Games can get you through times of no money but money can not get you through times of no games!!

Sorry dude, not as funny as you thought (but still funny cuz it's not all that rare).
From the Acaeum listing:
In all printings up to and including the Thirteenth, the Basic Set rulebooks were also sold separately from the Sets, and have the same artwork as their respective Box Sets (though rulebook prints First through Seventh were monochrome blue; Eighth+ had color covers, and came shrinkwrapped).

My god, at least it's not torn.

I think I've mentioned before that my copy of Eldritch Wizardry is in pretty bad shape, and in more than one way is in worse shape than that.  It wasn't my fault though, as I got my copy of Eldritch from a person who never took good care of his books and (truth) lived in a home that was falling down around him.  In time I'll upgrade and relegate the other copy to use with Rules Cyclopedia D&D, as Elrdritch has the Artifacts that the Rules Cyclopedia omits.

Trav, I have several copies of all the supplements if you want to consider a trade. I actually just put up four 1st prints.

Looks like one of our own has succumbed to putting the TSR history in his listings:

cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem& ... 7&rd=1

I'm not sure what I would have that you might be interested in, but let me know.  I might be surprised.

This is more a laughable pic than an item description.

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vi ... eName=WDVW

I mean who chooses that environment for a background unless the situation went like this:

"Honey, I need you to chop the greens for dinner before my parents get here"
"I'll be right there, I need to take a picture of my module for an auction that I just listed."
"NOW!"
Slinks into kitchen, chop, chop, chop, thinks 'oh sh!t I need to get that picture listed', quickly throws module onto counter, snaps picture and runs off to the computer.

:)

Well at least you will have an answer for the inevitable "What the hell is this green stuff on here anyway?!" question, whenever you receive your module in the mail

Yeah, I thought I'd give it a try and see if I can get $26 for a set of cards like the last one. :D If it works, I might add Judges Guild history, FASA and some others, and a disclaimer at the bottom that says they're not manufactured by Ral Partha, Grenadier or Citadel Miniatures. :D

There seems to be so much search manipulation going on, I thought I'd give it a bash. I could have just made it white or hidden it in some html I suppose.

This week I've been mostly eating . . . The white ones with the little red flecks in them.

If there was enough to do my 3-year-old's room, I'd get it. He's a massive Conan/Thundarr fan.

I'm not sure if this one applies or not.  I always thought S1-4 was bound similar to I3-5 or T1-4...am I wrong?

Actually, for some reason S1-4 is loose from the cover like it appears in the picture, and it was not attached at the spine like the other supermodules are. IMHO regardless, S1-4 is without a doubt the worst of any of the supers by FAR. It was a horrible attempt at putting together 4 totally seperate excellent scenarios that had no real attachement to each other than the fact that they were all located in Greyhawk, listed in the S series and not much else. It was just a mess.

Not to mention the modules are incomplete, missing levels and such from the originals (S3 is almost like an abridged edition it's so chopped up).

I've actually looked into this, now that I have all five (1,2,3,4 + 1-4 :-)

S3 has lost a couple of levels of description

S4 has lost the UA and MM2 stuff

Otherwise the text has been worked upon, with boxes added to read-aloud

All the player illustrations are present

It's not actually that bad, it just feels bad.

I've a fuller list if someone wants it (like the Acaeum site)
