1 pic for all of the items. I ask for more pics and this is the response:

Hmm. "White Plum mountian".

Seriously, looks like a nice lot - if only I could make out the covers a bit better. The seller really isn't doing themselves any favours. Might bid myself.

Buy from this guy at your own risk. He got nasty when I asked him how much money he needed before he could afford to send me pics.

Please ask him for pics

"Bumberhulk"  -- of course!  Sounds much better than "bumberholder!"  Thank you, Monkfish!  How could I have missed it?

Now to write the Bumberhulk up and submit it to the OSRIC people!

It could be placed in a new Monster Manual in an entire list of clumsy creatures....for instance...the stumbling tiger!

I have to say, I can't ever remember seeing copies of these books so beat up...

** expired/removed eBay auction **

I'm thinking of placing a mercy bid, as they've been tagged for the bonfire otherwise... :(

I know it's not D&D or even TSR, however I had gotten my hopes up on this until I re-read the description.

cgi.ebay.com/Twilight-2000-2-2_W0QQitem ... dZViewItem

(italics added for emphasis)

"You are bidding on a near mint  complete boxed set of Twilight 2000 2.2 I bought this a few years back in the plastic, and have contact papered the box and rule book. All cards and maps present. Books protected by contact paper to ensure they are shelf, coffee, and beer proof for years to come. "

That's sounds a great new collection.  Only buying boxed sets that have been protected by contact paper.  That Empire of the Petal Throne in Australia is in the same shape - books and box covered in contact paper (although he doesn't mention the box part in the auction).  Crazed!

Okay, I know the "G" does kind of look like a "B" . . . but, come on . . . use a dictionary . . . or ask a friend . . . or something.

Nice!

That one's even better than the "Friend Folio's" that sometimes pop up on eBay.

Serious advice: unknown word ... strange typeface ... unfamiliar item ... grab a dictionary!

Ah, but in the legendary Bazetteer, one can find the fabled relic, prized by druids, the Immerseed

  That actually made me laugh out loud. Man that is one of the most beaten up DMGs I have ever seen - and then using the term 'As New' .

I'm tempted to bid just to see how bad the interior is!
