Answer - 3

Question - How many times can one person call "Domains of Dread" RARE in their ebay auction?

Interesting Tidbit - Buy it now for this rare tome is only $49.99!

Gotta love it when someone steals someone else's auction photo and description.  But you would think that the person that stole the description would at least check for spelling errors.  Not only lazy but a frickin' idiot as well.

I have been noticing that auction decription & photo thefts have been considerably on the rise recently. :? I myself actually just had to report a seller this past week for stealing both some of my auction pictures as well as part of my auction descriptions for thier auctions.

I really like this one:

** expired/removed eBay auction **

Is i that he doesn't want anyone to bid on the auction or is he just trying to use the old Jedi mind trick, because he is afraid of religious fundamentalists coming after him?

Pay no attention to those auctions . . .

Those large lots don't interest anyone . . .

You're free to look at other lots for sale . . .

Move along . . .

Who wouldn't want a donkey?

Here's a funny theory on the purpose of basic games with chits.

A Boxed set of the D&D characters you migt have sued for roleplaying abit ago

Do you sue them for wasting all of your time with the game?

Frank Mentzer may be responsible for the "prison edition" tag for the version with chits. At least, his auction was the first time I remember seeing that. Great marketing tool!

But the question is how do the prisoners cut the chits apart? If they can't have dice, they certainly can't have scissors. Does the warden cut the chits up for them?

I did ask him!

Here's his response:

Well, as far as rare, the book is no longer a published book from what I understand as the ravenloft line is no longer published. Hope that helps.

:)

Heh.  I won that auction.  I wanted something signed by Frank, and I didn't have that printing yet. ;)

I think between my collection and stock I've got 3 of those at the moment so the family should eat a good thanksgiving if I cash in on the rareness.  :P
