Priceless
Why is it these people think having no color cover makes it rare. Next they will be pulling modules apart and shoving it in a ziplock bag claiming a EXTREMELY RARE LOOSE LEAF BAGGED module.

What tension there will be on this auction!  How many snipes have been set?  I know what we're all thinking?  Will someone bid 1 cent?  Will someone bid 6 cents?  What drama!  Can you imagine if someone bids as much as 11 cents . . . or even 16 cents!!!

Cha-ching!!!!  That seller is going to be raking it in.  (wish I could get in on some of that action!)

I think this seller is a bit confused about what the category "Role-Playing > Fantasy" means...

And remember, to beat out The Coug, you'll have to bid over his palindromic* totals ... 11 cents, 22 cents, 33 cents, etc. :)

Sheer numerophilous palindromic ingemination, that's all.

Ok I know this has nothing to do with D&D but I just love this seller's note just under the auction title and the first sentence of the description.

** expired/removed eBay auction **

I always get a kick out of the sellers that feel the need to be ultra-blunt in their descriptions.  8)

I don't have a problem with a description being accurate . . . as long as what you get if you win matches up with what was described.

As for some of what I've clicked on to . . . I don't know who does the TV ads, but have you seen the one where a car is on fire, someone types something onto the screen (as if on a computer), backspaces it out, then types something like, "THIS CAR IS HOT!!!!!!!" ? Or the other one (same company) which shows a car during Katrina's flooding bobbing up and down, then the words onscreen are backspaced out and "NEW UPHOLSTERY!" typed in?  That seems to be where some of those D&D/AD&D descriptions seem to be coming from . . .    :D as if the seller is watching that commercial and   goes off in his/her head.

Nothing funny about the description on this one, but the title is worth a look.
I think the mini has been sitting on this guy's shelf for too long.  :D

"You are bidding on a lot of loose female gladiators . . ."

And, yes, the description actually says that.

"AN ORIGINAL DEFIANTLY NOT A PHOTOCOPY"

Defiantly?     Doesn't that imply it IS a photocopy?
