Whenever I see things like that I have to think of the "King of the Hill" episode where Bobby joins the coven or warlocks in Witches of East Arlen. How Bobby in the end realizes if this witchcraft is so powerful why are these guys all dorks (paraphrase).

An alleged 1st printing DMG (even quoting from and linking to Acaeum) but with a photo that clearly shows (on the title page) that it is NOT a 1st printing.

Can the what appears to be '3rd printing January 1979' be explained..The first does not state a printing.
Is this two books being represented, or is this a 3rd Gamma with the cover replaced.

Heh, I didn't even look at all the pictures. Frost got his scans mixed up.  The page that says 3rd printing at the bottom is of the PHB, not the DMG.

Frost posts here from time to time. As a matter of fact he posted this auction in the classified forum.

I didn't wait for those to come up, either.  The little photo at the top of the auction is definitely a 1st DMG, and a nice looking one, too.  (Already got one!)

I had sent him an email asking him what all was included at least by number. When you find out maybe you could let us know if it was a good deal or not.

Somehow, I fail to see the connection to these and Dungeons & Dragons:

Given his newfound soft-and-gentle side, perhaps BTB will want to buy this item.  Same seller, same category:
