Challenger Inner Fender | eBay

I couldn't decide whether to put this in the Interesting Items thread or Laughable Item Descriptions.  After reading the seller's description for the third time I finally decided it should go here.

What the hell is a gawd-father?  And just how big of a dork do you have to be to even fathom the possiblility that rubbing your dice on anything would allow you to roll natural 20's for life.     Yeah, yeah I know, he is just trying to sell the book.  But it's still dorky.

That's straight out of Knights of the Dinner Table (which, sadly, gets less and less funny each month, but that's a different story).

"Dice luck" is a running theme throughout KoDT, including many references to wiping dice across a signature from Hard 8 Enterprises founder Gary Jackson (read: TSR founder Gary Gygax).

Right that, dork is the correct word (reminiscent of Dork Tower). You obviously have never seen a HackMaster manual.  :D

I guess I will always be a demi-geek.  I will never reach uber-nerd status.

After you reach demi-geek, you have to seek out and challenge an uber-nerd. If you can defeat him in single combat, he falls to demi-geek level and you rise to take his place. You must then fend off challengers.

If you hit a Rowsdower, you get to keep it.

Winning bidder is from the U.S.; Cougie was runner-up. Or I could be missing something — is "airdave" a Cougar alias or something?

I didn't check who won the auction guys.  However, we all know coug's track record with international shipments via m-bag.

Funny, I just noticed this today myself.  Completely ridiculous.

Apparently, there is a whole category of "mystery auctions" - all run with the same principle.

Didn't Peter Griffon fall for this one? He should have taken the boat!

Or maybe it was the woman from the movie UHF?

I've seen a couple of D&D-related auctions like that over the years, but I've never seen one end happily; this guy is just begging to no longer have a 100-percent feedback ratio.

People trying to get rid of their junk should just walk out to the trash can, not clutter up eBay ...

Even if this guy knows absolutely nothing about the items he's selling, I wonder where the heck he read "Forgotten Realms" in this lot.

( Not that I would ever condone the use of such a vile creation such as decaf :) )
