I really don't have anything personal against the coug-inator.  I am just amused by his angry and comically defensive communications.

The other day I sent him a comment as a potential bidder on one of his auctions.  I mentioned that his negative feeback concerned me...as well as the fact that no price was listed for shipping to the US.

He unloaded on me...essentially called me a piss-ant loser and a small fry who shouldn't even come close to questioning his Ebay uber-status.

I suppose I would buy from him if I was in the UK.

If you guys are missing Dragon Mag modules you should mention it somewhere!  I had so many built up that I just threw away about twenty of them!  I didn't even think to offer them in any of the "freebies" that I giveaway.

well i am not really bothered about the magazines themselves, as i have one of them archive CD things to read if i really want to.

its the inserts which i quite like, but generally they are missing - at least i find they are anyway, but its not like its that much of a biggie :)

For me, a Dragon or Pegasus without its inserts is like a dragon or pegasus without its wings.  I have never pulled out an insert from one of my magazines...the very thought horrifies me.   8O

I got an extra Dragon #73 just to pull the adventure. Years later most of my Mags were stolen, but I still have the adventure.

If someone "accidentally" sold me a Dragon without intact inserts I would be outraged.

If someone 'accidentally' sold you a pegasus without wings, that's downright dirty horse trading.

I'm sure someone has already asked, but, what's the map, Zip?

Dungeons and Dragons 1st Edition | eBay

Next, someone is gonna tell me that Naked Eyes didn't sing "Always Something There To Remind Me"! Damn you time warping 80's!

Someone obviously told them that these are not the current edition of the rules...and they assumed that meant before...ergo...first.

Maybe they are just stupid?

Or maybe, like me, thay are drinking. That sure would explain the description. It would also explain why I am looking on eBay at 11:26 PM on a Friday night, while listening to Naked Eyes sing "Always Something There To Remind Me". Right?

Nice lot about to sell for too much, but that's not funny.  What's laughable is cougar's "question".  You know you're screwed when...

(Note the conspicuous lack of the word "titanium"...)

Especially the note about individuals lying about him or M-bags.

The newbie seller just got screwed.  Those M-bags will mysteriously not show up.

A lot of people believe that if a book doesn't specifically state otherwise, it's a first edition.  Those people are wrong.

:?:

Winning bidder is from the U.S.; Cougie was runner-up. Or I could be missing something — is "airdave" a Cougar alias or something?
