Sometimes you just need to take heart in the fact that you're not completely alone in the universe.  I was recently and massively outbid on a motherboard with a damaged BIOS chip.

Oh, and you guys should stop bidding on rats.  Just come up to Toronto in a few more weeks.  We'll have plenty -- for free!

I figured the going rate for these was around $75 or so.  But figured that with prices dropping off on a lot of other RPG items that this would end up going cheaper than usual.  

That's crazy high.  I think I paid about $20 for my set last year.

The priciest early WFB stuff are some of the second edition supplements - because they're rarely complete with all the cutout/foldup buildings and the bonus badge/pin.

McDeath, Lichemaster, Orc's Drift - these could all be more like $40-50 items if complete.  But there is a lot of variation on these (so a real range might be $15-80).

I collect Warhammer stuff and there are many items that are collectable.  The chaos books ($75-150), the white boxset ($75-100), all the OOP basic sets, like you said the old suppliments, rogue trader stuff like the astronomicon and many other items (without even getting into the minis).

Warhammer and games workshop is extremely collectable and has very robust following of fans.

I'd say the hardest WFB/WFRP items to find complete and/or will almost always sell well are:

WFB2:
Terror Of The Lichemaster (very hard to find with badge and all card sheets)
Tragedy Of McDeath (very hard to find with badge and all card sheets)
Blood On The Streets (very hard to find with all card sheets)
Bloodbath At Orc's Drift (very hard to find with badge and all card sheets)

Slaves To Darkness
Lost And The Damned

WFRP1:
Empire In Flames
Warhammer Adventure (very hard to find with maps)
Warhammer City Of Chaos (very hard to find with maps)
Realms Of Sorcery Limited Edition (print run of 100-200, I think)
