Fair point   I did see it - but didn't bid.  I thought it might go for around $300-400.  No box, no reference or correction sheets and looks like a fair amount of staple rust.  Books otherwise look very nice though. Not a bad price.

I said that bid, not that bidder.

If I had seen it that bid would not have won.
I think that is an excellent buy even without the box.

And I agree, he would have most likely won regardless; even if I had seen it, but the final bid would have been a bit higher than it was.

Ditto, though I expected it to be more like $200-$300 vs. $400.

There was a Castle Falkenstein that just sold on eBay for $5. Why is that something I care about? Oh, only because I've been looking for one for like ever since it came out (only two stores in my area carried the book and only ordered 3, total and I didn't get one and they were never able to get a second order of them in...) and I had just told my fiancée that I was not going to buy anything for me until after her birthday and the wedding...

ARG!

Anyone interested in a trade? ;)

If I had known how much you wanted the Falkenstein I would have bid and then traded you for some C&C stuff...gouging you in the process of course ;)

Do you want me to pm you if I see another?  I think I saw this one.  Post the link?

Quick!  Everyone send Serleran something with an outrageously faux invoice!

Try and explain that $50 X1 or B2 to your fiancee . . .

On second read, I'm glad I didn't bid -- "several loose pages" = no thanks.

With a loose page. :(

One of these days... dammit.

I'm sure it'll go for a bare nothing price, too.

And given the way the Castle Falkenstein hardcover sheds pages, one loose page is an omen of bad things to come...

Are you a newb, an imposter or is this a new ID for the original IO?  :?

The original IO did not have an ICQ or AIM address tagged to his user ID.

EDIT: Also, this IO's ICQ page leads to a Russian website Blog Seoshnika

And now thesilentpenguin is going to split them up and sell them each for the same price or more than what he paid for the lot.

And that is one of the Pagan Publishing items that I am missing. :(

I am new to the site. I didn't realize there was another "Invincible Overlord" on this site (why would they have allowed the moniker if someone already had it... <shrug>)

If you have any questions for me, post there here or e-mail me at [email protected]

Peace
