 not even close.

I thought my bid was silly enough that nobody would try to top it.  *shrug*

Note to BadMike and anyone in the DFW area:  Hasn't a copy of that been sitting at the South Arlington HPB for about three years?  It's priced at $5 or something . . . maybe it's worth buying now.  ;)

Naw, that one is a later print, and in bad shape.  I doubt without Mars and Serl driving up the price, this one would have gone that high normally...

The normal selling price for these is about $5-$15.  I thought I overkilled the bid to get it but Serl wanted it more.

Sorry about that. I had no idea who was bidding on it, but its been on my list for a very long time, and the last one I saw and almost won I got sniped on so I didn't want to lose another one. I get tired of that, you know. :)

I did just recently lose out on an En Garde! if that helps any. I don't try to bid on stuff I know someone here wants... if I can help it.

I remember somebody posting that auction last week, joking that the Dragontales would go for a high price...  :D

I had been watching that one.
If it had not had so many problems I would have bid on it myself.
I already have a couple of them in better condition though.

This one has problems; page tears, seperation, writing throughout.
Even so, you are right, it is a good price for that book.
The seller was totally honest and upfront about it too, with a very detailed description.

like reading poetry, the way you write Aneoth (single line statements, not content, that is).  is the "enter" key oversized on your keyboard?

very good price / but not quite a steal that chainmail.

I thought I put a decent bid in, considering it's missing the box...
