I know a 1st print DMG isn't that rare, but I've been watching out for a reasonably priced one:

cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem& ... amp;ih=002

I had just asked the seller last night to confirm the image was the real thing, and he replied yes. I then check the auction this evening and it was ended :(

Did you try messaging him? Since it got no bids, they'd probably be happy selling it to you for whatever price. However, the cover has a nasty scratch on it, so you might want to wait for another.

No, but the seller had good communication. You're right though, I'll keep looking for a cleaner cover.

Thanks  8)

That would be the same Stephen who was honest-to-a-fault in his description of
** expired/removed eBay auction **
...
(Still surprised that that one sold for so little; with a mere $111 on the next underbid... :?)

Yeah, we both know who the seller was and after seeing tfm on the hunt, I put in a bid to ensure it got to a reasonable sum. Could've sworn decent 1st GHs used to go nearer $250-300, though... :?

All of us. Out of sight, for a change... :)
And there have been many, many interesting items heading in that direction, recently.

Cougar was only rumored to have two of everything. *jk*

@Brian: yes, I have a spare or two... that latest one's the best copy, though.

Heh, I would have bid on that one if I had known that it was up. :)   No biggie though, I was just having some fun.

Oh, I have both, but they sure would have looked nice on the resale.   Nice win.
