I wonder if the coverage of the 30th anniversary by CNN and others will smoke out those rare items people have sitting in their closets?

I did see the coverage by CNN. I wish I would have been ready to record it. Did you see all that cool stock footage? It just reinforces my belief in gamers as a lifestyle, and how it has outgrown itself as just a hobby.

Hopfuly your right. Maybe there's some guy right now saying wait a minute I have some old D&D stuff in the back of my closet (out falls a Fazzel).

I think it's safe to say yes.  I'm currently tracking about 10 boxed sets on auction, some of which are 3rd print and earlier.  This is not counting individual booklet auctions, either!  As well, the 2nd Misty Isles in a week has come up, and it wasn't all that long ago a Pharoah was up.  Coincidence?  I think not.
