Well.. as some of you kow I generally get focused on some aspect of collection and this takes over until my energy runs out and I go on to something else..

Today its the RPGA Network..

For many years I've wondered about all the scenarioes that were released over the years, but there doesn't seem to be a central place that you can find what you want to know.. so I've decided to make it a mission to do something about it..

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/RPGA

Has a list of the "Living" campaigns.. and the first off the ranks is going to be Living Greyhawk..

There is a nice list on En world already (its not complete, annd I should be able to add to it at the end of the day) link..

http://www.enworld.org/forum/general-rp ... guide.html

I already have a "LARGE" collection of the modules already (and the reason I chose it) so first off the ranks will be to collate all the adventures released and make sure I have coppies of them..

So general questions..
Is there anyone else interested in the "Living" adventures?
Does anyone collect them?
Was anyone involved with running the various areas of the "Living" campaigns?

(Please don't send me a list of modules you have at this stage, I need to see what ones I have/ don't have.. there are 30 regions with 2000+(?) odd of them so there is a lot to go through)

If you want to talk to me please use my email address and not PM.. just easier for me to keep track of things..

Thanks

Brette:)

Hi Brette,

I'm interested in them, but mostly because that's my list over at ENWorld, and I'd been keen to make any corrections needed to make it as complete as possible.

Yes, there are those that collect them.  I must confess I'm one.  It's a daunting task since there were so many produced, and a lot of the obscure ones weren't readily available, or have just disappeared.

What does "Living Greyhawk" mean?
Is it different from the Greyhawk campaign setting and modules?
(Excuse my ignorance here.)

Great list!  Bookmarked it.
It'll be fun just reading through it!
And I've been looking for something new to collect.
Greyhawk material would be very tempting.

Sorry I can't answer your questions, but thanks for posting this.
It's given me a new idea to chew on.

Thanks
Keith

The Living Greyhawk campaign was one of many "Living" campaigns. You created a first level character, and you were able to play your character across the world, wherever Living Greyhawk events were to be played. And your character would earn precious EXP, and gain gold and magic items along the way too...

And the other cool thing that LG did, was they pretty much overlayed the LG map on the world map. So if you were in the Illinois/Indiana area, you'd be playing a Verbobonc event. If you were in Wisconsin, you'd be playing a Highfolk event. Minnesota had the Shield Lands, etc.

I was in Italy in 2003 for my brother's wedding, and tried to get into a LG event south of Rome (but the timing for the event never worked out sadly...).

And as previously posted, the LG campaign ran from 2000 (The release of 3.0) to 2008 (The release of 4.0).

In the LG Finale, my monk was wielding the Final Word swords (Mordenkainen merged them together for the party, and I was the only melee type... yeah... all spell casters and a monk) against Iuz. It was truly an epic battle...

Well..

After a long look at what I have it seems that I have about 99.5% of all the scenariors, so there is not a lot I'm missing.. Missing a few AR sheets and a couple of the translation mods.. have to have a closer look at the special/interactive/mini's releases.. may be missing some of those..

Anyway.. now I will be collating all the blurbs so the list and the blurbs are all in one place.. ie..

INT7-01 Ambition's Folly APL 2 By Tim Sech. A new dawn has arrived in the early morning on Oerth. What adventures await the unsuspecting? New adventurers arrive every day to the Gem of the Flanaess seeking riches or to just take in the wonder that is Greyhawk City. Will this day be no different or will adventure find you? A one -round Core Introduction adventure set in Greyhawk City for characters level 1-4 (APL 2 only). This is the first adventure in the series of Living Greyhawk Core Introduction Adventures.

then I might make em look pretty..

INT7-01 Ambition's Folly by Tim Sech. A new dawn has arrived in the early morning on Oerth. What adventures await the unsuspecting? New adventurers arrive every day to the Gem of the Flanaess seeking riches or to just take in the wonder that is Greyhawk City. Will this day be no different or will adventure find you? as I do each region I'll see what else I have.. character creation doc etc..

I have been trying to collect all of the recent RPGA module series:

•        Living Greyhawk
•        Legacy of the Green Regent (Forgotten Realms)
•        Mark of Heroes (Eberron)

That said I still have a long way to go.

Cheers,
Curt

Let me know either which ones you have or which ones you are after.. I have those as well... The most recent is Living Forgotten realms? do you mean that? Wizards have released all of them I'm pretty sure as a download on their site.. after only running it for a short period of time..

I don't know if they created hard copies for the new Living Forgotten Realms. Legacy of the Green Regent was 2003-2006
Digital versions were available but those versions are missing some features. I put up scans and data for a lot of them over at ToT.

I will try to put together a list of what I have.

Cheers,
Curt

I played Living City for 15 years.

I have my character sheets, a bunch of newsletters over the years (The Trumpeter... but not as complete as the set Mars sold a few months ago...), the magic item certs my characters had... and maybe some other misc. items.

I may know someone that has the list of mods on a digital format...

I'll try to list all the RPGA "Living Campaigns" :

Living City (1987 to 2003)
Living Jungle (FR campaign setting... [Mazatlan? forgot the name...])
Living Death (Victorian era 1890 - 1900, using D&D ruleset)
Virtual Seattle (yes... they did a Shadowrun campaign run by Wes Nicolson)
Living Greyhawk (3rd Ed. D&D)
Living Force (Yep... Star Wars d20)
Legacy of the Green Regent
Mark of Heroes
Living Forgotten Realms (4th Ed. D&D)
Living Spycraft (I don't know how long it lasted though....)
Blackmoor (Again... don't know how long it lasted...)
Living Arcanis (broke off of the RPGA around 2007)

Yes, there were quite a few.. the RPGA also ran all sort of games, ie CoC etc but there weren't really "Living"

I've started seeing what I have and making rough estimates of the amount of stuff I have, what I need to get and what else I can get
I've done these and still working on..

Living Greyhawk (ran 8 years?) 98%+
Living Force (January 2001-January 2006) 90%+
Living Jungle (1995-2003) 50%?
Living Death (1997-2007) 40%

Have done nothing on these.. needs to be worked on..
Living City (1987 to 2003) 10%? some years they did 100 releases..
Virtual Seattle (didn't run long..) 5%?
Living Forgotten Realms (5% (released all the stuff recently)
Blackmoor 90%+
Living Arcanis (80%?)

There are also a lot of non-RPGA ones as well.. more than you would think..

Isn't Blackmoor a non-RPGA related one?  Wasn't it by Zeitgeist Games or was there an RPGA version too?

I've been searching for months for LG modules of any kind. Heck i even went to wizards and got this reply: "Thank you for contacting us. Unfortunately we no longer have any modules for any 3.5 edition material available. I would recommend checking various online gaming retailers, used book stores, or as well as our forums. It's possible that someone their may have one available."

As such, i am looking for anyone who is willing to share what they have with me. I do have a couple of OGL modules/races/classes/monsters that i'd be willing to share if you are interested. Let me know, thanks!

Danger? Ha! I laugh in the face of danger... and then it usually eats me...
