I was quite tempted - but it is set to US only shipping, and ebay contact system won't let me send him a question to ask if he would consider a bid from me, which is normally what I would do (I assume he must have set it to US-only or somesuch). Ah well  :)

My other 2nd Print has a crushed box but the booklets are lovely. So, being the evil scientist I was considering attempting a FRANKENSTEIN operation on it... BWAaaa HA HA hahahaha !!!!  <lightning / thunder sound effect>

[edit: possibly appropriate timing given all the excitement around June 1]

I hope so.
Despite it being part of the Arneson collection bumping the price somewhat (it aint signed after all).
A big sales price here could make my recent purchase price look even better.
Just over $250 now, with almost 5 full days left.

Even excluding the $10 shipping and for me this lot would not be worth half as much.

This may be the wrong thread since the item is no longer on eBay and this is more of an appraisal request, but I would like your thoughts on a BIN that I executed today.  The item was a 1st print DMG,

.  The price was $89.99.  It looks fine, but I am hoping I didn't push the upper limit of the market.

Thoughts?

That was a good deal you got! It looks in really nice condition.

Granted, it looks in overall nice shape, and probably better than others I've seen, but the last four 1st print DMGs I paid any attention to went two in the $45-50ish range, and two in the $25-30ish range.

And for something completely different. I don't follow this much at all, but the first I can recall seeing in shrink (3rd print I think)

Here's a Gamma World 1st Print in shrink up at the same time.  I've seen (and have) a 3rd Print shrink, but this is the first, 1st Print I have noticed in shrink.

At $250, probably not a bad price for the shrink collectors considering the 1st Prints go for 50+ ...

Enjoy :)

Hello Mrs. Cleaver, Theodore.

Isn't that strange, he has a DL1-8 miniature set as well, which would be perfect. But the shrinkwrap is sliced in one corner and one module is missing an insert. Wonder how it came to be an that condition.

Hey Simpering Toad,

Shouldn't it be kudos to the buyer for picking it up? :)
That would like nice in any collection.

Best regards,
Ronald

I wanted this (Who didn't?) and had no idea what it would have gone for.  Anyone have a quote for what the highest MM may have gone for in the past?
