All five of the Boxed AD&D sets from Red Basic Set 1, to the Golden Immortals Set 5, all in one listing... still very low price.

I recognise that tea stain tho. We owned that once.

What do you think - a few hundred dollars, maybe?

Rather interesting (incomplete) UK D3 printing.

Seller has a UK S1 as well which looks pretty nice.

Hi,

I am a long time lurker, first time poster and occasional sniper.  I have bought from some of you and bid against a few of you.  I'll introduce myself on the appropriate page.

This may be the wrong thread since the item is no longer on eBay and this is more of an appraisal request, but I would like your thoughts on a BIN that I executed today.  The item was a 1st print DMG,

** eBay auction listing blocked.  Please enable cookies in your browser for this site and for eBay! **

.  The price was $89.99.  It looks fine, but I am hoping I didn't push the upper limit of the market.

Thoughts?

LB

Welcome Lurker Below...

Looks like a really nice copy. :) You will definitely need to post some better scans of the cover when you have it in hand as the only defect appears to be in the upper right hand corner.  I would have snagged it at that price had I seen it as my 1st print DMG looks like it was used to file the bunions on BadMike's feet. ;)

Hello Mrs. Cleaver, Theodore.

Gee, Mrs. Cleaver ... That certainly is a lovely dress.

Thought you paid Mike extra for that, Smarmy.

I also saw the listing and thought about hitting the BIN as well.
The issue at the front upper right corner slowed me down and it looks like the lower right corner is dinged as well.
Not over priced, but close to top.
I have sold better copies for less and bought better copies for more and less.

Hi,

genuinely can't remember exactly, but the figure of £400  ($600) kind of rings a bell.

However, I also have a memory that the inside was really clean, and there was a big argument as the new owner then "frankensteined" it with another copy, which had a better cover but was less good inside.

Cheers,
KAL

Yep, $600 seems closer to realistic than the price it is listed at today.

I found this disturbing - children should be accompanied by an adult.

a nice used play copy....for under $50. If he sells that for the price indicated, mine is coming out of the vault.

Not too high for this hard to get 4th Ed redo of Hommlet
in the original Shrink Wrap too.
I have watched it sell for higher on several occasions.

If you are looking for an empty Silver Anniversary box

The title of the listing could have been more clear about the fact that the box is empty...
