Unless I'm mistaken, that's Sotteranoe, who sold his ST1 not too long ago.
Malcolm, let's face facts: You haven't sold the ones you have, you just want to Cougarretard the market for ST1's. It would be virtually impossible for you to have sold the 3 ST1's you have for the extremely high prices you were asking in the course of a day or two, when they have sat for sale on the website since, well, pretty much since they were published. If you REALLY found someone to pay $1,500 for the one I was interested in trading for, I pity the poor sap. The coffeee stain was so big, I could tell what brand it was (Folger's).
It would be a shame to see this one vanish from the collecting scene into a reseller's hands, where it will sit for an astronomical price.

funny enough I was the first person to bid on this item. And when I put in a 200 GBP proxy and got no reserve I started to think mabey this guy has no idea what he had. Turns out I was right. I have actually played the module, I have a friend who lived north of London throughtout the 80's, and attended the Garden Festival (He accuired his copy there?). I visited him in 88, and I remember the adventure being a little silly played in two sessions. In my opinion this module is way overpriced for the money I'd rather have 2-3 older (mid 70's) rare modules.

Two, yes, perhaps... Three would take some interesting bidding (both for ST1 and the others!).
I guess we're going to have to wait and see, here...

I'd left a post earlier about my experience with ST1, how I'd played the module when visiting a friend who'd moved back to England with his mother. I visited him in the summer of 1988. It kept tuging at my mind that this old friend Steven and I hadden't spoken in 10 years! I had to get a hold of him. I know he'd been living here in the U.S., We'd kept in contact regulary when he first returned. Anyway I still had his dad's number and he gave me his number. I gave him a call and we caught up on life and so forth. The funny thing is Steven told me his mother still has all of his D&D things back home in Letchworth, England. And for the record Steven told me he did not attened the Garden Festival, however he purchased the module from his local Comic/Game store. He had to laugh when I told him how much it was worth. We'll see what kind of condition it's in when he has his stuff shipped here.

That final price on the Vamp is probably pretty accurate. It has been creeping up for the last year. I think another one (2nd print) went within the past 6 months or so for around the same price.

The super rare modules are definately trending upward. The exception is that Inverness mono that went for under 1K earlier this year.

And I could've bought these damn modules off the 1$ rack!!!

Again (and for anyone who picks up this thread in the future), that PotVQ was an incomplete copy, whereas I presume the previous one was.
The "extra" (IMHO) might've come in the form of it being one of the (apparently few) single-side copies, and that it does have an extra map which could be swapped if by some fluke you find someone with the other map duplicated.

The Acaeum gradings really have a problem with missing content. In theory, this copy dropped straight down to "Poor", although my highest bid shows that I take that convention with a pinch of salt, too!

Just my 02 cents, anyhow! ;)

Glad that Inverness went for under 1K too!  I doubt that will happen again the way things have been going lately.
