Thanks for the effort there...
Makes it easier for OP to figure out what I was asking about.

That blurry enlargement does not help me though.
In fact it kinda made me dizzy....

Right! But the training sphere was metallic, isn't it?

Look?     Yeah, that is a replica of the lightsaber training sphere that Luke used in Star Wars aboard the Millenium Falcon.  If you look closely at the top shelf in a couple of the pictures you can also see several replica lightsabers in acrylic display cases.  I bought my brother one of these for Christmas years ago.  They are very cool and none too cheap.

I have no idea what is in the display case next to the mugs though.

By the way...amazing collection Adrian.  :D

All these photos made me realize I havent updated the ones I took almost three years ago.  Due to reorganizing my video game collection, purchasing a new computer desk, and adding more RPG's I decided to photograph every single item I have (for insurance purposes) and post a few additional room shots for fun.  I hope that more people will post photos of their collections.  What's the point of having one if it isnt out for other collectors to see?  :)

First photo is a mish-mash of everything from 4th ed. D&D to Warhammer.

Warhammer, 3rd & 4th edition D&D, and a few other items:

Dungeon Crawl Classics, D&D 4th Ed., Castles & Crusades, Midnight, Shadowrun:
Image

Judges Guild, Tunnels & Trolls, MERP, CoC, Traveller, Vampire, and a bunch of other stuff.  I finally had to commit about a hundred JG items to boxes as I no longer have room for all of them (Thanks Mike!):

Bookshelf full of comic book trades:

1st & 2nd Edition D&D, Retro-clones & some additional box sets:
Image

Harn, 3rd Ed. D&D, and a bunch of digest sized game books and box sets:

Computer desk with PC games (Snake Plissken on guard duty):

Consoles and video game library:

More consoles and games.  That TV is almost as old as me:

Several shots of RPG and wargame box sets:

Books!

Back side of shelves.  Conan's hidey hole:

Closet full of comics and other stuff.  Proudly displaying my Everton scarves:

The biggest problem I have with all of this:  Dusting.  It takes about and hour and a half to dust everything properly.  And with all the books (and our four cats), if I dont do it once a week the dust buildup can get pretty bad.

But where is your Vitrual Boy? j/k

OMG, a 3DO console! Wasn't that something like $700 when it first came out? Trip Hawkins must have been on some good drugs back then. Of course, that was back when I was at Nintendo, so I may be a little biased...

Nice collection of both pen & paper and electronic games!

Yeah....$700.  Course I didnt get it until last year.  Paid just over a hundred for it IIRC.  Trip Hawkins was a genius.  His company built the platform and licensed it to Panasonic, Goldstar, etc.  He made all the money and the companies he licensed the technology to lost out big time because very few people would pay that much for a machine that played video games.  And not many good ones at that.
