I feel like I'm missing out on the bonding that the USA guys are organising.

So, anyone going to the UK event?

October 14-17 at Butlins Holiday Camp Minehead, on the Bristol Channel in the north of Somerset.

I'm in Bristol one Sunday in October for an exam.  Not sure which date yet.  But if it turns out to be 17th then I might go to GenCon first.

I haven't been to a Con since Games Day 1988.  Or was it 1989?

What should I expect?  To be hugely disappointed?

Hi

if I'm being honest, I dont think it will live up to its Olympia heights, but it should be a good event anyways.

We have a stall there (as per), and I will be on the RPGs.

Cheers,

Malcolm

Do you know if they also run an auction?

It might be a better venue than eBay to dispose of some of my earlier duplicates.  Especially since those results from the GenCon auction. 8O

Hi

yeah, it was very well received.

Usual smallish gripes & teething problems, but nothing that couldnt be overcome too easily.

There was a Wizards 30th Anniversary Party on the Thursday,
and the auction was on Saturday night (I picked up a full set of Talisman + all expansions for £115 amongst other things).

It did rain an awful lot tho.

Cheers,
Malcolm
