Pewter Faction Pins/Badges

The sets of fifteen faction pins (or badges) were made by Ultimate Buckles Ltd. out of the UK, and
sculpted by Ian Burrage. They are made of quality pewter and have two sturdy, pointy pin-posts on
the back secured by a pinch pin-back. The pins originally came on a black plastic card featuring the
AD&D logo and sometimes a sticker with sculptor information on the back.

Plain pewter pins

These are generally the most commonly found of these faction pins. Dated 1994.

Gold plated pins
Some of these pins feature enameled detailing. Only certain ones have been actively seen on card.

Enameled pewter pins, prototypes

These pins are regular pewter featuring enameled detailing. As per emails from Ian Burrage, these
are prototype versions and were never released like the plain pewter and gold plated pins.

Card close-ups

Cards seem to have come both with the company sticker and without. Gold plated pins sometimes
had a sticker labeling them as such on the front of the card.
