A small ink and half-tone
film illustration of a Gingerbread Golem. The art was originally
created as an illustration for a monster created by Scott Johnson, a
contributor to the magazine. The art depicts a gingerbread
cookie-shaped monster yanking a sword-wielding warrior off the ground
before delivering a crumby coup de grace blow. It was created
while the artist worked on staff for Judges Guild.
Condition: The Bristol paper upon which the image is rendered has
yellowed somewhat with age and handling. There is a small tear in
the upper left corner of the piece, along with several staple holes.
The back contains notes by the artist, an old price marking, and "J-31",
Judges Guilds inventory marking for the piece. |
