It doesn't quite line up with descriptions at https://www.acaeum.com/ddindexes/setpages/dmg.html. It has 236 numbered pages and the yellow orange flyleaves. Has anyone here seen this edition before?

By the flow chart is 6th Alpha, but it has 236 numbered pages instead of 238, which doesn't match the description on the webpage I linked to. Puzzled

You know Allan, I had not seen that (even though I have a bunch of DM Guides). It looks terrific!

That is just hilarious, a DMG flowchart.

We now need to playtest it as a dungeon, reading the lines as hallways & the boxes as rooms. The second-alpha room would contain an NPC with monsters emerging from his side, either as Alien-type chestbursters or appendages. The third-alpha room would contain a prisoner bound & scarred in wire. If the players have fun, it's likely to function well as an organizer of information.

Some of the DMG printings had perforated pages for the reference sheets at the back. Perhaps it was removed on your copy?

The Acaeum's meticulous Alpha/Beta/Gamma/Delta print sequences still do not account for all of the differences it attempts to highlight. I have two or three different DMG's that can not be pigeonholed based upon the current flowchart.
