Thanks both, I had missed that as well, so goes to explain the final valuation that and the limiting the pool of bidders.

I've got 2 with the wheel great condition. Didnt pay much more than this, i think 200usd equiv. I would say these have not moved for years in price - at least in my ebay monitoring.

The valuations have been on an upward trend the the last couple of years, but like many items, they have leveled off a bit recently.

Prices have leveled off. The result could just be the nature of auctions. Auctions really end with the second highest bidder not the first. Some just dont have bidders that week or have people who forgot to bid. I didnt even see this one, but would have bid $250 maybe? Of course it would have ended slightly above that if I did. :)

I believe that this one, and some of the other R1-R3 recently sold, were my extras that I moved along to the seller about a dozen years ago. A tidy profit was made (not that I am complaining). I had passed them along at cost at the time (I really don't want any doubles). So they were nice, but I have much nicer ones.

Shrink is not a condition

Hey Bill, if you want to get rid of some of your doubles at cost, i am here! I would really be curious to see at least the list!

It looks like it just came home from the store. I could say, except for the one corner, but they were like that at the store sometimes.

That is the highest I have seen for a non SW DM screen.  Might be the highest for ANY DM screen.  It wasn’t an auction so quite possibly someone finishing a milestone and bit the bullet.  If I was down to the end of my collecting run, I could very easily see myself doing the same (it would have to be something a little more rarer than a DM screen however…  :D ).

Edit:  1,000 post.   I like the Prolific Collector title more than Verbose Collector.  Makes me sound like a blowhard…which come to think about it, is pretty accurate… ugh.

Your next rank is at 2000 posts, which if my math serves me correct, will be achieved in the year 2046.  I suggest you step up the pace, sir!

Congrats on a 1000 posts!

Lol, yes, you'll have to pick up the pace a bit to get to the venerable old fart collector.
