Well, I am planning on putting mine up for auction. I already have people inquiring about the book because I mentioned it at the end of an auction description (ya, I knew what I was doing when I mentioning it in my listing).

My only problem is there is no auction history to go by...and that is a big problem. I really like the book and would rather keep it than see it go for a small sum. I'm not trying to elicit bids or anything, I am just trying to get some idea as to what it is worth.

Well, announcing it here is pretty much guaranteed to get bids on it. I know I'll be bidding on it, and probably another 4-5 people minimum just from here Smile

You should post some links to your auctions in the classifieds section.  I'm sure some people would like the link to the RPGA and Wee Warriors items too.

Place a reserve of $500 on it. It'll be surpassed, and if it's not, it's worth keeping ahold of it until it does. I'd give you $500 for it without thinking.

PS. It's been a while. Welcome back.

I posted 3 scans of the sketchbook (cover, pages 1 and 3). You will also find photos of our costumes from pervious halloweens.

This year 60,000 people showed up to wander the downtown for halloween night. Biggest crowds I have ever seen there...packed into a .75 X .75 mile downtown area

Where did you post them PD? I can't find any links in any of your posts.

Man, no way I could afford the $500, heh. But yeah, mbassoc's right, it'd probably go for that much in a heartbeat.

See that's what happens when you try to post when you are getting to run out the door. Here is the link

You'll find the other two images in the album

Oh, and if you check out the 2002 purple dragon costume, you will recognize it as the dragon on the cover of Dragon Magazine #78.

Any news on this? Is it going on eBay or did someone make you an offer you couldn't refuse?

Y'know, I'm a big enough PS dork that I'd pay $10 just for a collection of photos of all the sketchbook pages. The three you posted were fantastic.

PM me if you're interested Smile

Anyone got any (rough?) guesses as to how many of these were produced and sold?

The answers are: not many and even fewer. Wink  (I have no idea, but couldn't pass that up.)

Like many others, I'm interested in seeing what this goes for but know that it's going to end up out of my price range.

Jeezus!  Shocked   I know that thing is rare but not in a million years did I think it would break the thousand dollar mark.  Good thing I am not a completist.

On a random note: anyone else having fun trying to figure out who is who in the partially obscured bidder listing?  I've only managed bclarkie and blackmoor at the moment. Laughing
