Heh...

My title was Village Clerk of Summit, IL.

I was elected with 67% of the popular vote. My primary responsibilities were processing business and liquor licenses, Freedom of Information Act requests, and record keeping. I was responsbile for maintaining all the records dating back to 1891. And in looking back at those records, the elected officials were as cutthroat back then as we were today.   Wink

It was part-time pay (14K/year), but made a nice supplement to my full-time job income.

I was elected Village Idiot many years back, with 88% of the vote. I didn't even have to campaign.

I think the other 12% was for Martha Coakley. She was far more qualified than I.

I have turned my dispute into a claim against "Lisa/Cougie".  Will post when I have resolution.

Interestingly, Lisa does not list any address with eBay, nor does she write her address on the packages she sends out (would be good if people who have bought from her cound confirm this), and her phone number just rings out.

This activity is surprisingly similar to previous incarnations of this fraudster, however, her continued shipping of stock seems to be going on too long if previous behaviour were to be followed.

I esculated my dispute to a claim about 2 weeks ago.  Paypal says they are waiting for her/him to respond.  He has not as yet.

Mbassoc2003 - I do believe there was a return address on the package sent to me.  However, I threw that away.  I remember the state was Virginia.  Which is consistant with "previous incarnations of this fraudster."

So far I have Wytheville, VA. Yes it's consistent. No actual address though. If someoen has a return address on a packet, PM me.
Oooh. Looks like the decent has begun in earnest. At least he'll be back in 2012/13.

Interestingly, I note eBay and/or the official channels for dealing with eBay fraud TAKE NO ACTION AT ALL, either before the event to prevent the fraud, or after the events to rectify their actions. Still, I'm sure it's all honest and above board, so it's all good.

That's a serious run of negs.. Even Lisa/jon etc comments back are written in the same lower & upper case nonsense.

This one is interesting though, gives a contact number???

I gotta suspect that number is a fake.  It is clearly meant to be seen by all, with a fair bet that no one will actually try it.

Why not just contact the buyer directly?  90% chance the number is a smokescreen.

Yeah, I kind of guessed it'd be a duff number purely based on this crooks history..

A bit like me stating I have the number of the Queen   Laughing

Gotta say I didn't look at the feedback before my recent post. The fact that the phone number is posted everywhere certainly explains why it's just ringing out from the UK. Either it's a public call box, or the owner isn't answering the phone anymore on account of them being an AH.

When I purchased my item there were only 2 negs.  Now it's raining negs.  Well this should be good for my claim.  SHould get my money back.
