I am pleased to announce that the limited edition print project with Erol Otus has begun!  The down payment has been paid, the preliminary art sketch has been reviewed, and it is inspiring.  The agreement with the artist includes provisions that he keeps the original and not make additional limited prints.  There are no additional qualifications or fine print on this point.

The print will be digital and archival quality using carbon-based pigments.  The paper dimensions should be 22x28 in case you are already looking for frames.  The print will include a Certificate of Authenticity.

The cost per print is not yet finalized for many reasons.  We are doing all we can to keep the cost at $50.00 plus shipping but this is looking difficult.  Once we declare the cost per person, we will present our budget with the expense breakdown. Also, once the cost per print is finalized, we will declare the printer machine to be used, the scan method, and the stock of paper to be used to help you in your purchasing/participation decision.  We will not reveal the printer company to be used until the project is over.

Please continue to update this thread with your desire to be added or removed from the Nifty Fifty/Wait List lists.  The committee prefers no PM's on this project.

Finally, we are still on track to have this done before Christmas. Send no money now.  The money request is months away.  Thank you for your patience. Smile

The rough draft was really rough and the artist prefers to showcase the updated rough draft.  We'll wait.  I have no idea when the updated rough draft will be available, but when it is, we'll put it up. Cool

And here it is!

The "Acaeum" citadel is in the background to the left and outside the cave.  The monster is, as of yet, unnamed.  The fighter is in the middle, the cleric is behind and healing and the magic-user is at the bottom left.  Enjoy! Very Happy

If the waitlist is still open I would very much appreciate being placed on it!

I've been watching the thread for a while, but now that I've seen the draft...

Simply awesome Shocked

Looks like a thumbnail sketch Wink

There's considerable more work to do with that for sure but I like the gist of the design overall. Looking forward to seeing more near Christmas!
