I have been collecting early TSR games, and have noticed something odd.  A lot of my older books have a correction in blue pen on the last page; pricing for Multi-Sided Dice Sets.  I'm not a handwriting expert, but all of the corrections may be from the same hand.  They are very similar.   These books certainly come from different owners - some of them have even been so kind as to sign their names.   This is in all my early books from 1974-1975, with the GK logo.  I have maybe 6 different books from this time period.  Does anybody else have corrected books?

Hey Wileysteel:  I checked my early books and found no markings on any of the price lists.  I have a 3rd print woodgrain, 2 OCE sets, and double copies of the supplements ranging from 1st to 9th prints.  Sorry.  I did find one of my books to have the price list underlined by someone who was making a wish list though!!!  Arrrrgh!  (I'm pretty sure the people at TSR didn't use CRAYON!) Shocked  Crying or Very sad  Smile   Oh well.

OK, here is what I found for the dice set prices in the early books.  Chainmail 3rd Ed 2nd Print $1.75 crossed out in blue ink and $2.50 written in.  D&D 2nd print $1.75 crossed out in purple ink and $2.50 written in.  Greyhawk 4th print, Blackmoor 1st print, Eldritch Wizardry 1st print, Gods, Demi-Gods & Heroes 1st print all $3.00 no correction.
