I have one as well. It's a pretty big box and an interesting RPG item of historical note. It's worth picking up for $14.95 for an interesting, alternative look at RPGs.
Another interesting RPG from the old days is Alma Mater, the RPG of high school student role-playing. It's pretty amusing and worth picking up for the Erol Otus cover alone. Just picture those funky boots on slovenly high school students of the early 80's. Cool

Schicks is a nice source for descriptions of these items, I must say I'm more and more interesetd in getting some of these, I don't have Dragon Raid yet, but it will be on my list, Alma Mater I have (and an extra or 2 of it as well), There are some I would like to get like "The spawn of Flashdan" (I know thats wrong but close) and has anyone seen any Dinky Dungeon stuff for sale? I've been on the net and buying rpg stuff here and I have NEVER seen any for sale...

Spawn of Fashon is one I'm hoping to pick up as well. I believe it was written for laughs and is supposed to a classic parody of D&D.
I've never seen Dinky Dungeons either.
Schick's book is an indispensable reference for the hobby.

Yes, aparently Spawn was reprinted in the late/realy ninety's ? I'm sure that I read it in rpg.net product review, I must of missed it then... it gives it a nice description of how to roll up a character which is a laugh just to read...

Still say one of the absolute best rpg parodies I've seen has been Macho Women with Guns (which spawned Renegade Nuns on Wheels and Bat-Winged Bimbos from Hell). Supposedly (I kid you not) there is a d20 version in the works.

Bought one of those for a buddy of mine who just loved karate master, expert gunman, super sleuth, sexy adventurers. It was the perfect gift...ha ha ha. Laughing

Came out in the late 80s as I recall...

I read Spawn of Fashon was actually a real RPG and not a parody. The reviewer of it on Dragon Mag. thought it must be a parody, but it's just really that bad.
