it's been a while...........
I have a lapel pin that I got when I joined the RPGA when it was first invented. I actually also found the membership certificate with the Charter Member Gold Sticker to prove it, too.
Is this a "sentimental value" type of thing or would it actually have some value?
Its copper colored, has a raised die in the middle with the letters TSR on it and around the outer edge are the words Role Playing Game Association. |

I bought an RPGA cloisonné pin awhile ago, but I don't recall it being more than $15-20 or so. |

This one isn't cloisonne'
Its made of solid metal; no color to it other than the copper....like an American penny.....don't know if that makes a difference. |

I believe vonmolkew's talking about the tiny bronze (?) "tie tack" pin the RPGA issued to members in the 1980s. They didn't switch to full-color pins until 1990 or so.
I can't recall ever seeing the tie tack show up on ebay. (I've been half-looking for a spare, myself.) I bet it would go for more than the cloisonné pins.
I still have my bronze pin, too. In fact, I had it stuck next to my name on my Gen Con badge three years running. The pin is so small that nobody ever notices it. I can try to put up a photo later tonight. |

And here we go (with a dime for scale):
So, anybody remember seeing one come up? |
