Just saw something interesting regarding your friendly neighborhood Shrew.

They are nearly blind, and very territorial.
In fact almost any other animals including other shrews that invade their territory will be attacked.

A garden snake thought he was going to have an easy meal with a shrew in the garden.
Not so.
As the snake makes its move, biting the shrews body, the shrew turns and bites the snakes head several times.

The Snakes muscles very quckly lock up, freezing from the poison in the shrews bite. Confused
Yes Poison. Shocked

A couple of minutes later the shrew is enjoying snake for dinner. Cool
