Well here's the first silly link of the new thread. From the Ministry of Silly Prices, I bring you 5 common modules, average quality sitting on $100, not over yet:

Well, in the seller's defense, I think he is just quoting the back of the book.  Still a damn fool.

This is the one with the absurd buy it now. But the book is only at around $6 isn't it?

The buy it now might just be to attract attention (which seems to have worked).

It depends on what you get for your money. Either the guy is deluded or he is backing a long shot, hoping that a couple of people with $ but no sense get into a bidding war. What is his track record? What else does he have for sale? He has people interested in his stuff, that is huge. People on ebay pay all kinds of fees to get their auctions noticed and this guy has succeeded either through stupidity or chicanery.

But free shipping...so think of all the money you'll save!!!  Very Happy

It's a ploy...and it's working, considering all the discussion we've already had here.  Best advertising scheme ever

If it's who I think it is, that guy is infamous on the Greytalk list.  He's been accused of plagiarizing other Greytalkers' material, woefully transparent sock puppetry and organizing a disastrous Greyhawk Legends convention in Lake Geneva a few years ago.  I don't recall all the details since these were long flame fests on the list that I tended to skip over, but others here could probably fill in more details from dealing with him personally.  I'd steer clear in any case.

I'd wager the BIN that you'd be right in that assumption. Infamous is not the correct word - reviled by some, perhaps. Me, I stopped caring. If you want some fun... go to Necromancer Games and ask them who "spellbinder" is. Heheh.
