Heh, he first listed it as 99 pounds. This is the 3rd relist. So now you have an idea.

Well, I hope no one ever buys it at that price, unless it's mint in shrink. This is madness! It's not even a rare module.

Sandytoast relisted this unpunched box of H1. His 1-day auction closed without bids. BIN only at $114.50:

It's a real pain in the ass for those who still want to play Bloodstone Pass. I have discovered more and more that a least half of those buying RPG's on eBay actually want to use the items.

I have a complete Roster Book and Scenario Book for H1 that I will put up for auction soon. No box, counters or scenery, but it still allows you to play.

All resellers who abuse H1 (and other items) in their auctions have long been on my blocked bidders list. Someone should get it who needs it. . .

Ive made money buying and reselling Bloodstone passes, I think there isnt a problem if the people have some control over what they pay (ie what other sale prices have been), but when you start force feeding the prices there is going to be resentment.

The $114 is a decent price historically for that item too.

H1 was an inflated value item to begin with - it has a mystique, which increases its perceived value over its actual rarity. This doesn't necessarily mean that the product is overpriced, but that it is indeed popular and therefore worth more on the market. Other products that have this perception include WGA4, H4, WGR1, and the Kara Tur boxed set.

Also, H1's value is exacerbated by the crappy packaging - it's almost impossible to find an uncrushed box, and there's also all the little components to contend with.

With all that said, I would personally never pay more than $50 for an H1 - which is why I never bother to bid on them. The market has exceeded my personal estimation of the item's worth.
