I found these amusing:  http://badgods.com/series-monstermanual.html

I think Rakshasa is the best one.

Would anyone know how to make ebay purchases/feedback private? I've seen a few people with their feedback marked as private (it was 100%) and wondered how thats possible.

Might be handy for some purchases of items that I wouldn't want the wife to see!  Cool     (gifts!!!  Laughing )

It is possible. Can't remember how to do it, but if you use the eBay Help system it'll tell you how. Gotta say 'Private Feedback', even when it's 100% is often a red flag and would make me nervouse about buying from a buyer. Particularly if the cost I was paying was more than I'd be willing to write off (£20). You'd be better signing up for another eBay account and keeping your RPG eBay account open and transparent.

I've decided I don't want to wear ordinary clothes anymore - just one of these:

I don't even want to think about whether or not he consummated the marriage. What would he do after, fall asleep ON her?

Wonder if he sleeps on the couch when they have an argument?
Wonder if she has a problem with him sleeping with other pillows on holiday?

Hmmm..... He never has to get in a arguement.  She never says not tonight, I have a headache.  She doesn't go out and spend a lot of money.  Maybe he's on to something, guys.

It'd be an open and shut case for the police if the guy was found smothered in his sleep with a pillow....

I don't blame him for his glee.  It's a pretty cool find.

Something gruesome like this can make an academic's career.

The fact that they were decapitated Vikings is an academic career bullseye.  It means this guy is going to be interviewed for television and will appear as an expert in documentaries about the Viking Age.  For the next twenty years he's going to be quoted in everything and the graduate students working with him just had major boosts to all of their doctoral theses.

If the skulls had belonged to Saxons or Picts or someone else less sexy than Vikings, it would have been an interesting find, but no one would do a television interview about it.

I fully agree. As a studied archaeologist myself, this is a huge find. Thats what I find fascinating, in that there is such enthusiasm for finding ancient bodies, (see TimeTeam) that many none archaeologists and historians argue that it is macabre and they should be left undisturbed. Sound argument on years old burial finds, but centuries/millenia?
Plus its only about a 90 minute drive from me! Smile

Lost power Saturday evening. Family board game night would not be denied. Though we usually break out Scattergories or some other such game, I made an exectuive decision. Gaming by candle light.
Note: wife and oldest daughter abstained.

Odd request, but am looking for the "How to Train your Dragon" toys from McDonalds (next week I believe they start to be released).  Might be able to do so myself, but if I can not (or not all of them) I am wondering if anyone here might help by procuring some.  Won't know what I need of course till the promotion ends.

Thanks,
ShaneG.

Interesting self-supporting "why we should rip off copyright and get everything onto free .pdf whether the author wants it or not" (paraphr. Wink) discussion ongoing on Fin's board; http://odd74.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=general&action=display&thre ad=3331

Feel free to read or join in but please be sensitive of the "collectors hyping the market and taking gaming materials away from the gamers" p.o.v. "ventings". Smile

Anyone else have this but with 1167XXX1904 on back cover and credits page.  I take it mine is a 2nd print because it has copyright 1994, 1996.
