Thankfully, the self-policing members of this forum have seen fit to confine off-topic discussions to this single thread, for the most part. Please continue this fine tradition.

Hit the quote button like you normally would. Copy all the information in the window (include everything from [quote ] to [/ quote] ) and then paste it into a reply to the new thread. |
Actually, a link to the other thread is the way to do that.
Hitting the Quote (Or post) button pushes you out of the thread after it is LOCKED. |

Nifty, I didn't realize that it worked that way. |

Would someone please put a bullet through the head of Kim Jong Il already? Like we really need another war. |
That would only be a short-term solution, unless it fueled a larger uprising amongst the general poulation and perhaps a good portion of the military.
Otherwise, his loyal followers are too many and some who might succeed him are worse than he is.
The people of NK have had too long under Kim Jong Il's regime.
It would take many years, perhaps even decades of De-Programming the entire population of North Korea to make a lasting peace on the Peninsula of Korea.
A new Korean war is inevitable and (I think) unavoidable and I also fear that it will entail the use of nuclear weapons in South Korea first (The North’s leadership is after all insane) then in North Korea by the US, at which point China will likely step in as well.
Thus starting WW III.
An interior revolution in North Korea would be a much better choice for the entire world, perhaps as you stated, stared by Kim Jong Il's death? |

It's been suggested that Kim Jong Il's impending death is actually the cause of a lot of the posturing & sabre-rattling lately: there's jockeying for position going on among the potential successors, but they also need to make certain that the country remains intact/independent after Kim dies so that they can inherit it. |

On the plus side, that might lower rpg collectible prices for a few years. On the down side, I would then need to check for mould and radioactivity |

Just put your rares in a lead lined safe. Course if the safe gets blown into the North Sea....well not much you can do about that eh? |

Thats a fantastic piece of work so far. How many more sessions does your artist estimate this taking?
Thanks, it is starting to really come along now. I've had more done recently and another session tomorrow.
So far it's been 16hours, I've 2 more definite 4hr sessions booked and there are 3 more provisionals.... I can't wait for it to be finished, but I suspect that it won't be until August time if I'm lucky, otherwise the guy is booked until October when I have the remaining provisionals in...
The guy is an amazing artist and has used the original picture superbly and then added his own twist.
I really must find the original artists name!! (will try to remember tomorrow!) |
Well, there is no signature on the original picture which is a real bummer... I'm guessing Elmore or someone similar as the dragon head does look like his kind of work from elsewhere.
Anywho, lots of colour added today and (hopefully) only 2 more sessions to go! I might add another pic once it's settled down a little..
Cheers

Yesterday I went to my local RPG dealer with my little boy (11 months year old).
Usually, he is very kind and smiles a lot... and he wept
My wife found that very funny.
Unfortunately it seems that he won't be a RPG addict.

That makes me sad.
What if those bad boys actually help her play better? Has she thought of that? |

Just think of the lost endorsement opportunities - Hooters would be out. |

Seriously, she's being so selfish. Why isn't she considering the feelings of those of us who are funbag-obsessed? Are we not people, too? Do we not have feelings? |
