Kind of fun.  Look at the prices listed for Falx, Hydell, and TSR belt buckle in the second picture:

I can tell you why I didn't:  I didn't like the covers!  I distinctly remember picking up some of the RPGA modules at Northeaster Cons up in New Brunswick, NJ c. 1983 or so (yes, same cons that I played Treasure of the Dragon Queen!), checking them out, and putting them back down on the table!!!!

Garrrrrr!!!!!

(And yes, the GHO site is currently down @ 22:38 on 29 Jan 2010 Sad ).

I liked the cover of the R1, but I didn't see the other covers until many years later. I went into the service in late '83 and didn't play much at all cuz I couldn't find people that I enjoyed playing with - most were too Monty Haulish for me.

Yeah, I didn't buy any back in the day either for the same reason.  Plus the module names didn't sound very intriguing either.

Same for me. Plus I had met a couple RPGA members and they were basically super geek city. I know we were all basically gamer nerds back then, but these guys were particularly nuts. You know...morons!

I imagine Frank didn't have any control over the covers Sad  And, naturally, I've got a healthy respect for Jim Holloway's work now that I didn't have then (Paranoia is what really turned me on to Jim's work).

I just keep kicking myself for those $6 opportunities Very Happy

How big was the company when these in-house sheets were created/used?  There sure seems to be a lot of them that got out into the wild.

K has a Runic CotSK up for auction.
It'll be interesting to see if this goes cheap.

Your cheekyness will be repaid by a photo of me holding my TSR related map!!!  Being totally honest, this changes things a bit.  This could be a significant blow to the defens's ability to stop Brees.  The game just went from "no way can the Saints win" to "if the stars and planets are all in alignment then anything can happen".
