After dealing with morons, cougtards, asshats, and dum dums, it’s time for new thread: Sellers who go above and beyond, and make collecting a joy.
Here's my story:
I recently bought a first print, DCC #1 from tonyscourtside. After asking the usual questions concerning condition, he provided a good, cursory description of the BIN’d DCC. After my payment, the item was shipped that day, and packed properly—bagged with two backing boards, larger cardboard framing that, also bagged, and it was placed in a hard folder with tracking--their standard method.
After the item arrived, I wrote to thank him and mentioned in passing that there were some light pencil markings in the module which I would have to carefully removed. Without asking, he insisted that I withhold my feedback until he gave me a partial refund! Within a day he had refunded a good portion of my purchase price and apologized twice for his mistake!
After reading reams about shady sellers and buyers, I thought it’s time to recognize the pro’s who actually treat their customers with care and respect. Think of this as the Anti-Coug thread.
So bring them on: I’d be happy to add new names to my list of favourite sellers with recommendations from Acaeum members.
tonyscourtside is now on my list, and I'll be checking his auctions every time I log on. |

Al...killjoy32...belongs on this list. I've made a few purchases from him over the years, and he's always been super helpful and professional.
Haven't seen him around recently, though. |

Yeah, really. Maybe the Coug took out all his repressed frustration on him! Maybe his feet became super infected and he had to go to the hospital. We can make up all kinds of lies!
Anybody know what's up? |

As we are patting each other on the back
I thought mbassoc, rpgswapshop, was good. Very well packed and quality items.
....and john_huck...sold me a lot of TSR stuff that nicely filled a few gaps in the collection.
Cheers guys |
