Well the 30% drop in the aussie dollar isn't going to help the Aussies buying overseas ATM...

Ebay have just changed the results display...my shop items now appear in the standard search which is good However they have bumped up the cost of a shop to £15...which is bad This wouldn't have bugged me too much when I was at 200 items but I'm down to 130 and it is too much. I'm going to have to get listing to get my moneys worth.
£ is losing value badly against the dollar which is annoying. Last year nearly $2 to £1. Now down to $1.75 approx to the pound. 12.5% more expensive is very frustrating. |

If they are GirlyBidders that is.. Real men (i.e. men with huge testicles) wait until the very bitter end with the sweat dripping down their faces, downing scotch to calm their nerves, while the auction ticks down.. |

Nothing beats getting up at 0330 to lose an auction. Best feeling in the world. |

Thank you for your advice everyone.
Well the items had been paid for after a short delay by one and both items were posted off in the last few days. I can only hope that the buyers get them, they should do, for I went out of my way to travel to a post office that I know ensures deliveries instead of keeping them to one side "for later" like the one near me.
I can't say that the selling experience has been unpleasant but I do take on board the comments made about the fees so perhaps I will sell some of my stuff either here or on Dragonsfoot-will become a member of that place sometime later this week.
As it is, I do have some more stuff to sell, whilst not ultra rare may be of some interest to collectors, stuff like Inferno, Duchy of Ten etc.
It's only because I am out of work and have bills to pay that I see the need to sell off some of my stuff, sob story ahoy. Of coure, should I find a job soon then the need to sell becomes unecessary and I can keep my beloved collection.
Enough rambling, thanks to one and all once again |
