A short story that happened to me yesterday.
Last weekend, an honorable Acaeum member purchased from my rpgmarketplace store 2 items. Then the usual story: info for payment, checkout and green light for shipping.
On monday i went to the PO and i sent him the envelope.
Two days later, yesterday, i came back home very late and in the darkness of the building entrance i spotted an object leaning from my mailbox. I was happy for i am waiting for a couple of items and i thought that it'd have been one of those.
When i took the object i realized that it was the parcel i shipped out on monday!!! The excellent minds (just not to call them intelligentia) working at Poste Italiane took the envelope and used the "SENDER ADDRESS" info as the final destination...
Now, i have to ship it again to the buyer (and i seize the opportunity to send him indirectly my apologies for the delay)... hurra for Poste Italiane!!! |

Australia Post has done the same to me. I have even had a package sent to me (from within the same state) which was returned to the sender stating that they couldn't find my address. |

Same to me, for a package with a tracking number...
And another time, I shipped a package to Le_Rahib... He wasn't at his home... and the package has been returned to La Redoute, a company who sold clothes and a lot of differences things by correspondance... I had never know why they returned the package to them.... By chance, this company sent back the package to me with all books in it! So I had to send the package again.
The silly thing is that the french post lose the package, even with a tracking number... |

Yep, same happened to me with the added insult of having to go to the sorting office to collect the package as I wasn't at home when the postie knocked. |

Honorable member ...! Thank you
That is funny IF you didn't have to pay twice for the shipping !!!

There is absolutely no trouble Axel, don't worry. You don't need to apology for yourself
I will tell you when it arrives.

Well, you can use 'honorable member' too Loki.
That time the french Post has to deliver several parcels, one for me and 3 for my neighbour (it was pieces of furniture) the same day.
Neither me nor he were at home (please excuse that sentence, not sure about 'neither...nor'.)
So the postman did an error and send all parcels back... but to the same seller.
So the Furniture store did received my games as a 'return' as well as its furnitures.
Luckily, and it was quite inexpected, someone opened the parcel, understood that the company was not the sender and send it back to Loki.
We were very lucky, both Loki and I tryed hard to get explanation by french Post but the solution came from an employee of the firm. He could have throw the parcel or keep it for him, because for the french Post, the parcel has totally disappeared.
But don't hesitate if you want to make some trade with me !
It works well for 99 % of the time.
