Would this even have cost this much new? |
Regardless, there's no way he's going to get 450.00. If he was that concerned, he should have put a reserve on it (to at least get a feel of what's available). Would have hit somewhere in the 200.00 range maybe... |

And same buyer, too.
Too bad when you're pointing to an item but there's a RICH guy around... |

I'm always a bit leery of posting in this thread, in case either the seller or bidder is a member -- but I think this belongs here:
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT &item=270291011829
Now, I know that the 1976 orange character records and game reference sheets are rare. But this isn't for the pads. Unless I'm misreading the description -- this is just for one page of each, and there were I think 24 pages per pad. So at $61 with less than four hours to go, that would aggregate to over $1400 for the pads. |

You're forgetting to factor in the savings on the free shipping

I really think they have lost their minds. I got $60 at the Gencon auction for mine. I bought two of them 2 years ago for $20 each on ebay.

I would agree that the price is very optimistic... But, I could see it going for $50.00 during the holiday season. I actually wouldn't be surprised if they snag a sucker at the current price. Will be interesting to see. |

Beholder and green slime are harder to get (around $40-$50 range). No real commons in there though, the rest normally go in the $15-$25 range so not that out to lunch |
