Use this sticky thread to post interesting auction items that may have escaped the notice of other collectors.

I wonder if your post count weighs down the system like 100 posts in a thread do? So at 10,000 posts will Foul have to lock your account?  Wink

Isn't that a 100 pages and not a 100 posts?

With his number of posts, Al's probably already filled over a hundred pages already  Smile

Well if its 20 posts per page, then yes he has Smile

Side note for Scott: can the locked thread have its priority removed so it doesn't stay at the top of the forums?

Side note for everyone else: Um, Ebay down, because no one has linked anything. And yes I realize I'm not either, but that's because I'm part of the 'in crowd' Wink

I'm not sure if anyone is bidding on this EPT:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=180247050759&ssPage Name=ADME:B:WNA:US:1123

But, I wrote the seller and it is only the box and the main manual, no maps or pamphlet with it.

I wrote the seller 4 times early on and he never responded back.
Now there is a note on the listing stating he is out of town till the day after the auction ends which happens in 4 hours.
(So he is gone till Tomorrow at this point).

It seems to me the seller simply did not want to answer any more questions about it or to tell anyone else that the set was incomplete, hoping folks would get invloved in a bidding war for a book in an otherwise empty box (Though he does not say this in the listing). He has offered no description of the box contents and simply lists the game name, author and date, even though he most often describes in detail his listings and he also usually offers pictures of all of the contents for his other game box sets. In fact many of his game box set listings include SEVERAL pictures of the contents, inluding going as far as unfolding game maps in the pictures.

Instead of posting that he would be gone, it would have taken NO longer to state the exact contents of the box.

BTW: That note was not there two days ago.
This guy knows exactly what he is doing here.
He and his store belong in the shady dealer thread.

Confused And it sold for $100.99.....................

Wonder if/when the buyer gets the package that he might have any questions for the seller regarding the fact that the only thing he actually bought were a 144 page book and a box, and that most of the original contents were not inside and nothing was stated in the listing?

I have a book and a box for sale.............. and the additional tables sheets missing from the above listing too..........
no maps though...............

That's the kind of seller that should get absolutely hammered under the new rules, and I hope he does.

Mike seems to be quite aggressive these days. Did someone do something wrong to him?
