I sent her a email...she's now got pictures to go with the listing. Apparantly it's missing a page or two, though. Should still be a nice deal for a bargain hunters, as there are some other fun items in the pile.

it's really a pity to see a lot like that... i wonder how much happier would have been ppl (even acaeum members) to see all that items sold separately... |

The fighting wheel is one of those items that I cannot bring my self to want. I know they are rare and collectable but what is wrong with a few dice(die)? |

I've often wondered why so many U.S. sellers refuse to ship outside the U.S. Ignorance? Laziness? A combination of the two? If you can learn how to list something on ebay I wouldn't think learning how to ship Internationally would be that big a leap. |

Reasons:
It's more difficult to do.
Overseas buyers tend to rip off U.S. sellers more than domestic buyers.
Items get damaged more frequently and it's a hassle to deal with.
Items get lost more often, especially going to Italy (I don't know why this is...)
Your prior comments as well. |

Cost and not wanting to take a gamble. If you use paypal then you need tracking, if you don't have it a lost package or a package reported as lost is the sellers responsibility and you lose the money and the items. I get emailed all the time by buyers asking the cost to ship something internationally, and unless I take the package down to the post office and get it weighed and quoted I can't give them an accurate estimate. I do try to give a general estimate, or at least I did, but what I end up with is a waste of my time and some nasty emails about me trying to rip them off with expensive shipping. At this point I don't even answer the emails anymore. I ship internationally to a couple of people from here and that is it. Unless I know someone I won't ship outside the USA. It isn't about laziness, or any crap like that, it's because of the bad mail systems in some countries, the huge cost of shipping with tracking and the gamble on negative feedback after a package has been massively delayed, damaged or lost. Professional companies and sellers can take the losses or the negative feedback and some sellers don't mind gambling. I'm in this to clean out my office/guest bedroom and for some fun money and having some fun in the process because I like selling stuff. Angry and nasty emails from international buyers or worrying about a package getting lost, stolen or damaged is not fun. I don't do it. |

These are the kind of reasons I can't understand...
- Is it more than simple to put books in an international priority flat rate envelope or box and to fill a simple custom form (even a child would know how to do it)
- I don't think that international buyers are more dishonest than US. I had as many problems with US sellers/buyers than with UK or french ones.
- if the seller do his job correctly, no items should be damaged. Any time sellers take care to the packaging, items arrrived always in perfect shape. It is just because sellers put the book in the envelope and in the mail, without any protection that books are damaged.
- Italy, mafia, that's all Mafia wants to put their hands on D&D collectible market |
