Hrm. You may be right. Hard to tell from the angle in the photo. Anybody asked the seller? |

They are definitly cut down. I bought one like this from another seller a long time ago. He tried to tell me they were supposed to be like that .

Now that you mention it ... they are definitely cut down. The spine side is white and is big enough to wrap around the hardcover book. In the picture you don't see the white at all so if it is there it would be tucked under. But that would make the bottom cover 1cm bigger and it would stick out. |

And he's already sold six...must have come upon an unopened case, wish I was that lucky. He could be getting twice that price easy, it's a damn good deal, wish I could afford to buy them all....

hmmmm dont like the look of that seller for some reason. would love to get hold of some of these (barring the last one of course), but i would have it shipped in the US - trouble with these folk, you can just see them botching the whole thing up.

I know what you mean, Al. I looked more closely at one of those auctions and there are some really good things in there (one auction has some OD&D supps, a 2nd or 3rd print MM, what looks like a 1st print DMG or PHB, lots of JG stuff...) so, I'm sorely tempted, but, its still got 6 days to go... so, watching I shall do. Don't you dare snipe me lofenloc! Heheh. |
