Try these four for starters Al.
#50 (Feb '84) p20-22 The Watchers of Walberswick by Jon Sutherland
#60 (Dec '84) p18-21 The Bleeding Stone of Iphtah by Steve Williams & Jon Sutherland - fantastic scenario in the Middle East
#66 (Jun '85) p22-26 The Horse of the Invisible by AJ Bradbury
#88 (Apr '87) p12-14 The Paddington Horror by Marcus L. Rowland
They are all quite short - but good for a night's gaming each - or two if your players are cautious... |

For anybody that collects Pagan Publishing items, Scott Glancy posted the expected print runs for the upcoming Mysteries of MesoAmerica and the Delta Green: Eyes Only softcover reprint.
He expects that the first printing will be 3000 for each of those books.
The DG:EO hardcover had a print run of 1000. |

Since this appears to be the Cthulhu thread:
How rare is the 3rd edition boxed set? I ask since I usually only see the hardcover on eBay and because I recently purchased a copy (minus the dice), and am now curious as to whether it was a good price or not. (Don't know on the exact condition yet. I'll find out when it arrives.) |

That is one of the versions which I don't have.
I never heard any figures for print runs but the year that came out the Games Workshop hardcover of the 3rd edition was also released.
A friend picked one up for me at Gencon that year and even had it signed by Sandy Peterson.
That is the type of question though that should motivate you to sign up over at the Yog-Sothoth forums. They might be able to answer your question. |

Anyone remember when they first announced this one?
Regardless, I'd like to echo red_bus's comments. |

This really is a new Golden Age for Call of Cthulhu. Pagan Publishing up and running (four books next year), new licensees, Keith Herber back writing, more new scenarios, and now this - which will kick off a whole load of new scenarios and campaigns over the next few years. |

As reported at Y-S.com. Goodman Games are going to be producing Call of Cthulhu adventures. Cool!

GOODMAN GAMES TO PUBLISH OFFICIALLY LICENSED CALL OF CTHULHU ADVENTURES USING BASIC ROLE PLAYING SYSTEM
Goodman Games is pleased to announce that it has signed an agreement with Chaosium to publish all-new adventure modules for the legendary role playing game Call of Cthulhu. These adventure modules will be published under the line Age of Cthulhu, which takes Cthulhu investigation beyond the familiar places of the 1920s New England seaboard. The first Age of Cthulhu adventure module, titled Death in Luxor, is slated for December 2008. All Age of Cthulhu adventures will utilize the Basic Roleplaying mechanics as published by Chaosium.
“Call of Cthulhu is an industry icon,” said Joseph Goodman, President of Goodman Games. “Every gamer has played it, every fan knows it, and every creator loves it. Age of Cthulhu takes this familiarity and turns it on its head. I think Cthulhu fans everywhere will appreciate the chance to play in a Cthulhu sandbox that’s both familiar and foreign.”
“We here at Chaosium are very excited to be working with Goodman Games to bring new Call of Cthulhu supplements to our community. Their high quality books are sure to be a hit,” said Dustin Wright of Chaosium.
“It is an enormous privilege to contribute to the Cthulhu mythos,” said Harley Stroh, staff writer for Goodman Games and author of Death in Luxor. “We all grew up reading Lovecraft and playing in the classic Cthulhu adventures, and there was always the shared assumption that terrible, inexplicable events were taking place across the globe. The Age of the Cthulhu adventures are an opportunity for investigators to probe some of those mysteries – even if they all go mad or die in the end.”
Scheduled for release in December 2008, Age of Cthulhu: Death in Luxor is the first in a series of new adventure modules. This new adventure takes the investigators to Egypt, where madness has gripped the archeologists of Chicago House. Encountering corrupt police, a beautiful Theosophist, and cultists bent on awakening a horror from another age, the investigators must solve the mysterious deaths of Professor Bollacher and his team before ancient rites come to their terrible conclusion.
Following quarterly in 2009 will be additional Age of Cthulhu adventures. While Death in Luxor sends the investigators in search of the mysteries of Egypt, subsequent adventures will expose them to the terrors of Asia, South America, and Africa.
Retailers will be able to order Age of Cthulhu: Death in Luxor in December under the Goodman Games listing as SKU code GMG7001. |

Lots of goodies coming out for Call of Cthulhu!
Hopefully their Africa products will create some interest for that setting.
I just completed my latest monograph Mysteries of Sudan for Cthulhu by Gaslight.
I am just waiting for the FTP information from Chaosium to upload the file. |
