I was actually asking as a buyer. I've browsed a bit and most AD&D products (at least those that sparked some interest) seem to come from the same seller, who explicitly states won't ship down here.
Anyway good site, keep it up. |

Well, that's probably me... I have put a some rares on the site and many have sold... and I don't ship out of country unless someone here knows you well or I have done other business with you in the past.
(shipped to Denmark last week to Bombadil, but had BadMike do it for me, I have sold and shipped to Bombadil's US address ie: fiancé/wife? on previous transactions)...
In any case, feel free to ask about shipping from any seller as some may ship to Brazil.
I am also the one that charges the minimum $9.00 for shipping, but I only cover cost about 50% often time... everything comes in a box, packed well, FedEx Ground, with insurance, and signature required... the only way I will ship in the US, no exceptions.
A few more items are being posted by various people it seems, so nice to see more stuff... I have ton more to put online, but am waiting to see more stuff from others put online...
and while I am at it... i will post it here one time... if anyone wants to "subscribe" to any of the stores larger than the free 25 item store, please do and let me know... for a limited time I have been bumping those users to "preferred sellers" (you have to be verified as well) and thus you get a 100% discount on all fees (so it's all free, the store and the main page feature option)... I won't post this again, and I won't say when the offer expires... but I was hoping to see more Acaeum members not be afraid to sign up and thus there would be more stores... maybe this will help a bit... |

Ah so it's you! Bastard!!
I don't blame you for sticking to safer methods and destinations. These sales over distance are a real pain in the ass, specially when you don't have an elite strike team to shoot down cold those that don't pay you, like the mob would do. They knew how to do business!
Congrats on having a 1st print OD&D for sale |

Ok, DON'T sign up for the larger store first...
let me know first and I'll set your account as a Preferred Seller... otherwise it wants you to pay the $4-$5 fee first .. then I have to refund and change your status... |

When looking at newly listed items, its nice to see when they were listed, instead of when they end. Any way for me to do this (nothing in Help or FAQ yet that I can find).
Thanks! |

There is no column for that once you get to the list or in the search,,, I am sure the column could be added... so I made the request and hope the devs send me an updated file |

Awesome, thanks for making the request!
I like seeing everyone's discussion on improving the site. Maybe it would be most efficient if there was a thread here only for enhancements etc. Of course if that thread got bogged down with chat it might not be any better than this one.
Cheers! |

I find chatting about general daily events quite soothing.
Calms the soul so to speak.
In any event ......
what were we talking about anyway? |

Doug, 4 times this past week there have been short periods (15 - 30 mins) when the site has been unavailable. Always pre-noon UK time. Is this due to ongoing development/ maintenance? |

Actually the site seems to have been down for several hours today. Can anyone else get on? |

It's down due a drive problem... it when down in the night some time... I am attempting to verify the sectors and reallocate them to get it repaired... drives aren't that old so not sure the reason.
I'll get it back online as soon as it's done...
then I'll get a new server configured and move it this weekend |

Ok...
The drive problem forced me to restore from the Friday morning backup at 0400 ...
Anything on the site from Friday at 0400-until about 0400 Saturday is lost...
Sorry, was the best I could do...
So, you'll need to relist or possibly resign up (looks like 3 users signed up Fri and are missing....)
I restored the site to a different server for now, not it permanent home, but I wanted to get it back online. Also, instead of a full server image once a day @ 0400, I am going to schedule some hourly SQL dumps as well to at least not have to go back more than one hour... just hadn't got that far in my setups yet as this wasn't a priority project ... but I'll make it one now.

Doug, might this have affected invoicing? I'm trying to raise an invoice for an item just sold but keep getting, "There are no uninvoiced sold items for this user.", even though no invoice has previously been sent and no payment made. |

I wouldn't think it would effect any processes as the backup is a full image of the server at 0400 Fri ... so it's not like it went offline abruptly ... it ws a good image with no errors...
What's the item/auction # you can't invoice and I'll take a look at it. |

I can't remember. An adult beverage may help me remember, or we could talk about adult beverages instead. |

Danny, I think that is the same message I was getting when I tried to invoice you for the two Chaosium monographs that you won on my auctions. |

megnelwil: Jason also reported this problem as well... but previously to the system restore like a week ago... so far those are the only 2 reports with invoicing problems... others have been fine...
but since that's 2 out of 20 .... I need to contact the devs and see if I can have them check it out
So I need the auction numbers for both Jason's and yours to check |

Hi Jason, yes I recall you mentioning that now. Doug, remember I told you about that double sale problem? It's happened again on this transaction, maybe it's just a display problem as the system is still reporting the correct number of sales. But I'm not sure now whether to delete one and process the other. Auction ID is 100338. In sold items I have two entries both with the same ID and both unpaid/ unprocessed. |
