I forgot to bid... Although having said that, I probably would not have gone much over what it sold for. |

Nice looking book at a decent price.
The only JG catalogue that I see coming up by itself on a regular basis is the Portly Pomp from 1982. |

I also had a bid on it.
Lower than the final obviously, and watched it till near the end.
Almost bid at the last minute, but decide to pass.
Might regret it later, but I still have my 45-50 bucks for something else.... |

One that got away actually.
lordnightdavid (Is he a member?) won the auction.
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=110269718648&s sPageName=STRK:MEDW:IT&ih=001
In the center bottom row.
A first Print Temple of Ra Accursed by Set (See the Stock number in the lower left corner, in the second print the number is inside a yellow box at the lower right corner front cover).
It is a tuff to find Judges Guild adventure book.
And just above that one and one book to the left, is an early print of the Under the Storm Giant's Castle, which I also do not have, though it is easier to find than the Temple of Ra book is.
The rest of it I cared little for, though some of the TSR modules I do not have (Yet for some reason I have about 7 X1's.....)
I bid till it got beyond what I wanted to pay just for The Temple of Ra and the Giants Castle books and then I stopped.
If I was a re-seller with good shop and had sone experience, I would have gone further, but even so, at $4.96 per book (Counting SH), I do not see a re-seller making a huge profit from the lot purchase either.
Still the winner has a nice First Print of The Temple of Ra now, plus some other goodies. |

same for the temple of ra. i have seem them often enough, to feel they are not rare, but maybe uncommon.

yup I have seen the Castle book several times before and have never really tried to chase it down either, but have only seen the Temple of Ra once before (Not that I was looking all the time).
Kinda wanted that one, but I was not willing to shell out $65 or so to beat out a Knight for it. |

Missed a World Emperor today for $10 but snagged an Invicible Overlord.
The auction stated that the World Emperor was incomplete but it not only looked complete to me but seemed to have an extra map.
Ah well, close enough to see it listed, but not to catch the buy it now. |

Yeah I saw those - too late! Nice pick up.
Have you received it yet? Do you know if it is a 3rd or 4th print. Just asking as I am monitoring the values of this item. |

I noticed bracton (same bracton as here?) picked up a nice looking Citadel of Fire
If it is you, I'd be curious to know if it is a first or second print. I have not yet seen a confirmed 2nd print. They seem to be quite rare. |

Not yet. I'm hoping it has all the maps. |

Yep, that would be me. It is a second print (the Judges Guild List goes to 80). I had no idea the second prints were more rare. And all for $10. |

Does the Tegel SW have a sticker at all like this auction? http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=220296928455

It Sure Does. However, that's why I wasn't sure if it was the original shrink wrap, or some sort of (other) platic bag.
It doesn't feel like shrink wrap material, if that makes sense...
By having the sticker on the bag, what extra provenance (if any) does it give the set? |

City State of the [me]?? looks like own most of jg now
agreed nice haul. disappointing final price after asked for extra details but other auctions made up for that
label not essential but helps identify plastic wrap for the period as is open others could be put inside so already maxxed with tegel
more difficult is slightly earlier with plastic wrap such as csio before jg added the label but can identify from other contents |
